Hi all, I am a new member just joint last week, I bought last month 5 one day old chicks from my local farmers flea markets, unfortunately 4 died, 1 still alive turned into Plymouth Rock, I do'nt know would be a girl or boy, I'll post the pics later, please pray every one for his or her life, very friendly, love to site on my hands and shoulders, I am also planing to write to city Govt. to remove the ban on chickens in backyards.

Aw! I'm so sorry about your loss! That must have felt awful.

At least one made it, though! If I may, though I would suggest getting a friend for him/her. S/he may be a lonely bird all by the herself!
Chickens are very social animals. I have two, and they are absolutely inseperable!

I'm so glad one of them made it though! A Plymoth Rock is a good bird! Here's hoping it's a girl, so she'll lay for you!
