Only started having chickens and really enjoying it!

Hi There Just started having chickens and am really having fun. Friend of mine gave me 3 laying birds but only one is laying. Have had them for a month now and am hoping they will start up again! I heard they take time to lay again if moved or stressed. I was salso told they are a hybrid between a leghorn and Road Island but forget the name given to that type? They are brown with white under the feathers. Anyone knowing what they are called I would really appreciate hearing from you! We live in Orangeville ON, and also raise miniature horses for small kids and therapy visits.

Some chickens dont lay as fast as others.

They are probably just taking their time.
