I just went out to give our chicks a treat (strawberries) and noticed that one of our (biggest) Plymouth Rock chicks' (about 8 wks old) tail is quivering - sort of looks like she's not doing it on purpose - that's it's involuntary....
This was the fastest growing chick and is visibly bigger than the other chicks (2 other PRs and 4 feather legs). She's VERY skittish. She appears to be eating and drinking.
Is this a sign of disease?
They started on medicated chick feed, and have now graduated to the "teen" food. They are sexed chicks bought from a very reputable Agway in town.....
