Are you going to bed early tonight? When I was a kid, I always wanted to go to bed around 4 or 5 on the afternoon of Christmas Eve...to (somehow) make Christmas come earlier.
When I'm excited about something I usually have a really hard time falling asleep! When I was little at Christmas it was always hard to sleep, and then I'd wake up super early. I remember once my sister and I woke up at 2:30am.
It's so cute, my sweet fiance is just as excited as I am. Last night about half and hour after we had gone to bed, I hear this quiet, sleepy "my love? "my love?" And I said, "hmm, what's wrong?" And then he said, "I was just thinking that right now our little chicks might be hatching."
It was SOOO cute!!
I have 2 sleeps and 1 wakeup until my new peeps are ready for me. I've been ready for them for a month! Our first brood of Cornish Rock X roos are 7 weeks old and I absolutely fell in love with chickens through them.
Right now my BO are in their shells, making their first crack at coming out! By tomorrow they should be out of their shells, then I get them on Wednesday! Oh I'm glad I am not the only crazy out there so excited about newly hatched chickens. This is better than pregnancy because I *know* I'll be holding them in 48 hours! Whoo hoo!

I know! I can't wait!!! The poor employees of our local Post Office have already been driven slightly crazy by me. I can see the road the Postal Service trucks use, so everytime I see a truck go by, I call to check and see if there are any chicks on the truck.
That is my only gripe of buying from MyPetChicken.com , you don't get a tracking number so you can see where they are at that time.
