Hi there, I’m looking for Black Australorps or Buff Orpington chicks in Ontario. I’ve found a few kijiji ads here and there but not much luck finding the specific breeds elsewhere. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

You might want to wait for warmer weather before getting chicks shipped.

Spring time is usually when it picks up to buy chicks. I’m hatching some legbars in the spring if you’re interested.

Performance Poultry has both. I’ve ordered 5 australorps and 5 dominiques. They DO NOT do beaks. Frey's has australorps but does beaks and you can’t get day olds. You have to pick up at performance tho I think.

Yeah its in iowa. Once the chooks start laying i'll send you some eggs if you haven;t gotten it done yet and can hatch.

Thanks for the tips everybody! I’m in Ontario Canada. I checked out performance poultry which seems like a pretty awesome place and almost made a reservation for some spring chicks but then ended up finding someone in my town who breeds them. Going to be getting some buff Orpington in april. I’ll have to try out performance one of these days though and make the drive out. They have almost every breed imaginable. Appreciate the help
