(hawks can fly in though... but they can in coop run too.. )
But my geese and pigs can bother them....
but my pigs have always been good with my birds.. they actually are kinda afraid of them.... but babies are so small...
NOw my geese.. my male can be a little turd.... nipped at few chickens...but never hurt them.
But byran can maybe put up a temp fence around the house....
Also, just thought of something else,.. if i keep the babies in the coop, they will have to go down STEEP stairs with a long drop... so that wont be safe either...
Think my best bet is to put them in my yard..and fence around the little coop...

will she eat if i put the food right by her nest?? Thats what i'm so worried about..shes like starving herself!

When I first heard this I thought it was an old wives tale, but when I had my first broody a couple weeks ago, I took a bag of ice and put it under her. She still sat on it but in 2 days she left the nest and still has yet to go back in

Yeah she will eat if you put food close enough. Doe learned how to eat without even having to get off the nest, she just reached way out with her neck.
