DE doesnt prevent nor treat internal parasites. It is useless as a wormer, been there done that years ago. Here's another link for you:

I think that's what he means... FWIW, it hasn't worked on either (external/internal) with my chickens.

Well, I don't really call that proof. It has worked quite well for me and yes I am sure they had parasites. Are you sure that you and the person you posted the link on, where using the right amount and often enough? I have found that it works better in there drinking water.

Continue using it as you see fit, you'll learn the hard way in time. Then you can PM me and I'll be happy to help you how to properly worm your birds.

There are two primary wormers that I use and rotate; valbazen and safeguard. I worm birds orally, that way I know they are properly wormed. ...nothing mixed in water.

I need to get an answer on that. Subcutaneous mite infestation is what they told me.
