oooh, I'm so NERVOUS!!!

Today we have our "children" outside for the first time!!! They have a cozy coop and run, but for the night, I have them locked in the coop....with bedding....with a red light...I feel like my kids are "camping" outside! Sure hope everything goes okay.....one of my silkies is still so small...

Everybody did just fine! I had to run out first thing and check on them. Day is dreary, very overcast, so they were still in the nest thing. I gave them some mealworms and they went absolutely bonkers for them! It was cute, they were chasing each other to steal the worm!

So they made it through just fine, I feel a little better!

I always get "empty nest" syndrome when the kids move outside for the first time! I'm glad everything went okay!!
