Its day 19. I was looking at the hydrometer and what do I hear? chirping! They have not pipped yet.....how long do I have? Is this on normal schedule? This is my first time.......I'm so excited!

Be sure to keep bator closed and HUM up. If you have to open for one second and throw in a wad of wet paper towels or even a wet cotton sock to keep the hum up to about 65-70.

Let us know how it goes ! Get that brooder ready !

How wonderful!!! How many eggs are in the bator and what kind? Hatching eggs has got to be one of the most exciting experiences there is! Good luck!

Hi all

I am on day 19 to. Glad to have hatching buddies. I am at work though and don't know if they are peeping. Let you know when I get home.

Hugs

Keep you posted

Best of luck and try to enjoy the hatching....

Try to avoid opening the bator and I know the urge to touch is really strong so sit on your hands if you have to...lol.

Kinda worrying abot the humidity but I have been doing all I can.

Chicken Woman, I took your advice and threw in a warm wet sock (hey, Jab it was only for a second and just barely cracked open).

Birdlover, this is my first time incubating and I have kinda messed up. I have 7 eggs due in 2 days and 7 more due 2 days after that
(I know, OOPS! but hey, I'm living and learning!)
