Ooooooooooh - Yippee - I hear peeping from under my Serama!

I have been checking my sitting Serama hen since Friday. I had thought her eggs (6) would be hatching yesterday, and was so excited. Well, nothing yesterday and nothing when I went out at 8:30 this morning. BUT, I just went out and lo and behold, I hear little peeps coming from underneath her! I tried to take a peek, but my normally docile and friendly hen was having NOTHING to do with that and VERY assertively pecked my hand. I figure I will just leave her be for a while. But I am just SO excited. This is our first little brood and I am hoping that all of them hatch!

Just went out and Mom let me lift her wing for the 1st official shot! Little yellow fluff ball.......darn, I think I maybe just got addicted!!!
