In all the excitement of my silkies hatching and the exhaustion from my 3 kids being sick I forgot to stop turning my lav orps yesterday...one has PIP'd ... oh dear ... too many poultries about to be running amok...

So, 5 silkies out, 1 Lav Orp, and our first muscovy from our own ducks!!!

Still to come: 1 silkie, 1 black copper maran, and 1 more muscovy (in the next 1-2 days)...plus the remaining 7 lav orp's (not due to hatch till Sat/Sun but the one came early)


Oh, the first silkie to hatch seems to have attached itself to the muscovy.
