Our flock of babies is growing up, and two of them are crowing. Much bigger than the others.

Should we cull one? The papa rooster has not attacked them yet. They free range all day on 1.2 acres, then coop all together at night.

Do you think we're headed for trouble with 3 roosters in 23 birds total?

They always were cockerels ;)
How old are they?

Depends on their demeanor's and the amount of space you have.
I would not keep more than one male, no need for it.

They are 4 months old. I was advised in another thread that two were OK, the older would assume dominance over the younger. But everybody quit posting. It's like this forum has a virus.

What's a cockerel then? Is it any baby chick that will turn into a rooster??

That is possible.

Yes.
FYI.....semantics, maybe, but can be important communication terms when discussing chicken behavior.

Female chickens are called pullets until one year of age, then they are called hens.

Male chickens are called cockerels until one year of age, then they are called cocks(or cockbirds or roosters).

Age in weeks or months is always a good thing to note.
