I talk to mine ALL the time!!!
It is part of the training process. They now do NOT run away squawking just because I happenend to enter my garden

. Am hoping they will soon want to come near me if I sit quietly with something yummy. Then I hope to get some nice shots of them too.

The banties are settling well now - Big Bertha the Black Legbarr is still making them do their morning PT before breakfast, but only for about 5 mins, and then it all settles down.

AND they all went to bed on their own last night!!!

BTW the trick with putting the torch in the house to encourage them into bed works a treat and is so much less stressful than having to chase birds about in the dark!!!!!!

I got laughed at the other night for talking to my eggs! "Come on babies, you can do it. Stay nice and warm so you can hatch big and strong." What's wrong with that???
