Hello from Colorado! I've been hatching and raising chickens, geese, and ducklings, since I was just a chick myself but didn't start my own flock till about 3 years ago. I just have a small backyard flock of egg layers, mostly heritage breeds but am planning to try my hand at raising meat birds later this spring. I just live on a little residential property so I guess I'm seated on the urban homesteading bandwagon
. I've lurked BYC forums for years now so I figured it was about darn time I just indulged my chicken obsession and joined!
