Ok, first off, this is just for fun! Also, this isn't going to be a complete post right away, I still have to get pictures of each individual chick. They just hatched yesterday and early morning. The eggs were purchased from ebay. I was very happy with the seller and turn out! The eggs were extremely cheap, packaged very well, and most developed. I had some quitters, which was probably my fault or the incubator. I'm still trying to figure the settings out. 5/12 in the heat of summer isn't bad in my opinion. They also were a part of a staggered hatch, so they weren't turned all 17 days. If you want the seller info, message me!

Let's begin the Guess Who My Parents Are game:

Description:
My roosters are Double Laced Barnevelders & Blue Langshans. (See pictured roosters), so you may get 100% pure bred Barnvelders or Langshans in your mix. I also have hens that are Jersey Giants, Cochins, Australorps, Leghorns, Penedesencas, Hamburgs, Orpingtons, Easter Eggers, Sapphire Olive Eggers & Prairie Bluebells.

Please check back shortly (like an hour maybe sooner)

Chick 1 has a pea or rose comb. Difficult to tell which. So its mother had to be one of the Easter or olive egger types, or the Hamburgs. My guess is the Sapphire OE. Father could be either but probably the Langshan, going by color.

Chick 2 has a single comb and Partridge coloring. My guess is Penedesenca mom, Barny father. But one of the EEs could be its mom, too, especially if any have single combs.

Chick 3 is the kicker. None of the breeds listed has a 5th toe. Maybe the seller had other breeds not mentioned like Faverolles or Silkies, or EEs derived from Faverolles (Green Queens). Who knows?
