Oops... I may have gotten some chicks!

I have ten that vary in age from 1 to 7. Yesterday I bought 10 chicks, today I bought 10 more and tomorrow I'm going back for 10 more. TSC has new chicks of different breeds each day lol.

Well, today I went to get 10 more chicks and came home with 12 chicks and 4 duckies. That makes 32 chicks and 4 ducks in three days. Not including what I already have at home.

Ah... chicken math. I would love to have a bunch more chickens, but sadly don't have the space. Already pushing it with the coop size. My ideal amount of chickens would be about 20. We have 13 right now

We started with 5 barred rock pullets 4 years ago. Since then we’ve been up and down and all over the place. Currently we have 8 hens.......but..............
I have 24 day olds coming May 1 (all different breeds, very exciting!)
I picked up a dozen eggs to hatch today (9 pure Ameraucana, 2 LO and she threw in one silkie cross something (could be pure silkie or silkie cross bantam Cochin frizzle!)
I have 12 pure silkie eggs coming this weekend
And 8 Orpington eggs (5 lavendar, 2 black), and 4 black Ameraucana eggs also coming this weekend.
These 3 dozen will incubate together!

After these hatch, I am getting a dozen EE eggs.

Then.....I’m done. Or am I??

I think we all suffer from the chicken math affliction!
I have 24 chicks coming from Cackle hatchery because I needed a few chicks to keep my lone incubator chick company! Guess it needs lots of friends!
