Oop's Inverted eggs - help please

Hi,

I set my eggs on May 10. I placed them in the auto-turner with pointed end up. I had tried two previous hatches (last year) with limited success. Alot of the chicks were fully formed but did not Pip. I am guessing now that is because i made the mistake of putting them in upside down and they drown.

Should I correct this mistake now at day 11 or would this cause more harm than good?

I’d flip them immediately. With the eggs upside down, those chicks have a real problem doing an internal pip. You still have over a week to go. I think your best chance is to get the eggs right so maybe that air cell will be where it is supposed to be.

If you don’t flip them, your results will be the same as before. If you do flip them, at least they have a chance.
