oops, my hens ate medicated chick starter

i moved some chicks to the brooder in the barn. i placed a bucket of medicated chick starter on the shelf. i caught some of my stow aways (hens) in the barn eating it. the stow aways are mostly hens in molt or scaredy cats that don't want to be in the coop. they only had it that one day. i have gotten five eggs in the last two days from them. i have left them where they are so i don't confuse them.
how long do i have to wait to eat there eggs? can i incubate them?

Don`t even give it a second thought. Eat the eggs, won`t hurt a thing.

yep, no problem at all. The "medicated" part is only a coccidiostat to help prevent coccidiosis. Won't hurt your hens or their eggs at all.

Do you have the bag or know the brand? There should be a very clear label that states if/how long to go before eating eggs from chickens fed the feed. If you're really concerned about it, I bet they have a toll free number you could call and ask.

If you do call, report back here with what they say.

it is agway. it doesn't say anything about hens and eggs, BUT it does say for broiler medicated.. completely save with no tissue residue, can be fed right to market. so i guess i am good to go.
