Hello. I'm a mother hen to every one. I never turn any one or anything in need away.
Recently I've taken on some of my neighbors rejects & I'm concerned about them, but mostly smallest seems to be blind but I'm baffled.

Welcome to Backyard chickens, how nice of you to be concerned about this bird. Blind birds need extra protection from predators but, can quickly learn where the food and water is, if you keep them in the same spot.

Good morning Kelsie2290. I have posted some pictures where you said. Sorry, she's not real cooperative at this.
I hope you get the time to see what I was talking about. Thank you

Sorry about your baby. That looks like an eye infection to me. Is that pus in the eye? If you peel open the eye, is it clear like an eyeball should? You might get her started on some sort of eye antibiotics. This website sells a couple different eye antibiotics. I used one on an adult hen with an eye issue and it cleared it right up...http://www.firststatevetsupply.com/store2/antibiotics/opthalmics.html

I hope you can get your baby back on her feet soon!

Thank you TwoCrows. Her inner lid doesn't like to open either. I can pull back her eye lid & it takes a bit to get her to open the inner on. it seems clear but she's not a very cooperative pt & I'm mostly worried about hurting her more. I'm still have dropping fluids into her mouth but she still not trying to peck. I will look into a broad spectrum antibiotic eye drop. thank you
