Oops: Thread for sharing stupid things you did

I feel like we need to have a thread about stupid things we have done. I’ll start. I put a thing of chapstick through the washer and dryer and now all my clothes smell like chocolate chip ice cream.

Ah, finally!
When I was still learning to cook, I thought that a clove of garlic was what you called an entire bulb of garlic. Needless to say, I was wrong and the food was horrible.

OK. When I was 6 years old, mom and I went clothes shopping. She said go try these pants on, so I did, right where we were standing. I knew nothing about dressing rooms at the time!

Or. the time I was 10 yrs old and Dad said he needed to take apart the lawnmower, and fix it.
Well, To be helpful I did it for him... OOPS I took it completely apart, and it never was repaired right. But I didn't know mechanical stuff back then!

Ah, dumb stuff I did as a kid.
One time I put an egg (store bought) from the fridge and put it under a radiator, thinking it would hatch. It exploded from heat due to no air holes in the egg.
Even now, I am extremely anxious keeping eggs near any kind of heat, even for a short time.

When I was little, I got some money for Christmas. I got it dirty so I decided to put it through the dishwasher to clean it. It was a fifty dollar bill
