I popped in my zip and surprisingly there was nothing up for Norco, so shocked. But this is a good way to find an animal, I actually got my cat Saul using this site, he was at the Riverside humane society shelter thing. Cutest cat ever, even adopted him super cheap because apparently, no one wants to adopt adult cats.

that's AWESOME that you adopted your kitty from a shelter. you're right, people frequently want kittens and way too many (awesome) adult cats are passed by.

i'm surprised that no chickens came up in norco! i was at the norco shelter last summer and they had a really neat poultry pen with ALL SORTS of birds - everything from chicken to quail to a beautiful pair of exotic phesants!
if you are in the market for a rescue chicken maybe just drop in on them and see who they have right now. it's totally possible that they just don't post their birds.
