Oozing eye

My father in law has a turkey and for about 4 to 5 months now her eye has been swollen shut to the point you could not even see where a eye is supposed to be. This week the swelling has gone down enough that you can see where she should have a eye if she could open it. Also yesterday I noticed something white that almost looked like a maggot in it. Today I went to check on her and it is oozing and smells rotten. She still eats and laying eggs. I have gotten attached to her so I do not want to lose her. I have been letting nature do it's thing but what could be going on?

I'm not sure in the maggot in the eye.

Did read on here where there are some kind of eye worm. But can't find the thread.

I have one now that has a major sinus infection. Swollen head, eyes oozing white mucus.

If you can find it I would get some tylan 50 water soluble. It's an antibiotic. See if that would clear her up.
