Either that or replace the bulb with a large cfl bulb, or a 40 to 60 watt incandescent bulb "normal light bulb".
I can't use the big red bulbs here either, too hot so I use a 40 watt normal bulb.

Thank you all for the responses! The room will stay about 85/90. It’s a hot laundry room.. do you think I should unplug the heat lamp?

Thank you all so much! I unplugged it and they now seem to be happier.. making chirping noises And running around more!

Yes!!! If they have their mouths open panting they are too hot. Only use the lamp if it gets below 70 degrees in that room. Watch them, they will behave differently when a the right temperature. They will eat, drink and chase each other at times chirping happily. If they are too hot they will be listless, breath through their mouths and drink so much water they may get the squirts! Turn off the light!!
