Our 7 week old chicks are still in their brooder in the house, and are in a spare bedroom that's warm, but certainly not about 75 degrees. Some of the chicks are sitting around with their mouths open today. I assume this is a sign of overheating, but as it's not too hot up there, I'm wondering if something else is going on. Their brooder is clean, and they have plenty of food and water. Any ideas/advice would be very welcome! Thanks.

They are just warm -- I relate it to a dog panting. Mine have been doing the same thing -- it's about 80-85 degrees outside here.
Edited to add: If they are close to a sunny window, you might move them to a less sunny spot in the room.

They are warm, just as you thought. Chickens pant. Just make sure that they have enough water.
