Our new coop for 12 chickens. We don't have predators & are subtropical. We do have doors to hang . They will swing right back so the front remains open unless it gets very blustery & will hang 2' from the edge of the coop floor so there is ventilation from below. 1 1/2' deep Ventilation under the back eave. It's heat, not cold I have to worry about. So far it's withstood several tropical downpours keeping everyone warm & dry without problems.
