Our goose is about 11 months old and started laying in January, and laid pretty regularly since then, about every 2-3 days. Recently she has stopped laying, we haven't gotten an egg from her since March 26th or so, and her last egg was cracked, whether by them standing on it accidentally or a weak shell, I didn't get to see it before my father threw it away. She has also been breathing with her mouth slightly open, though it doesn't look like she's straining for breath at all. It HAS been pretty warm in the Northeast lately, it was in the 80's today, but they have a pond and everything so I'm not sure if it's just the heat or something else? She is acting and eating normally, we give them lettuce as a treat and mash as their primary food, plus they can graze all day. The only other goose we have is an American Buff gander, and she is a production Toulouse.
