Okay... So I figured I would start a contest for all BYC members. That means EVERYONE is welcome to do it! All you need to do is post a pic of your best chicken you have and post it in replies. Include what the breed is, and the gender. If you don't know the breed or gender, say I don't know the breed, or I don't know the gender. All ages of chickens are welcome, and There are lots of pretty chickens, but whoever has the best looking chicken wins! Hens and roosters are welcome. You all have until November 5th, 2017 to post a pic of your chicken, that's when the contest closes. On November 6th, I will post the winner on a thread called: ANNOUNCING THE WINNER OF THE PRETTIEST CHICKEN CONTEST! All breeds are welcome as well. I will post step by step what you need to do..
1. Take the best snapshot of your chicken as you can. (If you already have a good snapshot, don't worry about this part).
2. Click on this thread and click the "Reply" button.
3. Click on the image icon, and press "attach file" and attach the pic of your best chicken.
4. Include info about your hen/rooster: EG. This is my pretty Silver Laced Wyandotte. She's a pullet. (and any other info you want to include)
5. WAIT!!!! On November 6th, I will be announcing the winner on a thread called ANNOUNCING THE WINNER OF THE PRETTIEST CHICKEN CONTEST! Be patient.
