I have a electric cord connected to the top of my coop and has a little bit of a gap in the middle of my coop about 8 feet high, and the gaps about 2-3 inches about a hour after dark she would roost there, I know she could fly but how does she manage to fly and land in the gap on the cord with out falling off ?

here is a good example,

imagine 2 coffee cups side by side, Thats how big the spot was, 8 feet in the air, with only a cord to roost on!
