Plug it in, it does the rest, don't put eggs in and you won't be traumatized and disappointing by poor hatches. sorry but that is probably the very best advice I can give. anyone that suggests anything different is making compromises with your sanity.

So I seriously do recommend you start with making sure it is clean, really clean, then plug it in. by then you should have a fairly decent list of specific questions.
