Opinion on quality....

I'd love an opinion - or several - on the breed quality of my rooster..... Of course, I think he's gorgeous, but I'd like to know what others think. I'm thinking about getting him some girlfriends, but before I breed him, I'd like to know if he's worth breeding.

He is young, around 9 months. This pic is about 8 weeks old, and he's changed even in the last eight weeks. He's filled out, fluffed out and his feathers have taken on more definition.

As much as I love him, if he turns out as mean as my RIRs were, he's soup.

As far as I know, he's a White Leghorn. I'm going to try and get another picture of him tomorrow. His saddle feathers are amazing..... Am I talking like a proud Mama?

He looks to heavy to be a White Leghorn, maybe a White Rock?

I have a White Rock hen and he doesn't look anything like her... he was an 'unidentified' chick.... just cute and yellow and fuzzy.... I just always assumed he was a Leghorn. Open to correction though!

I had a white leghorn chick and his comb was bigger than your boy's. This pic is from when he was only a month old... I had him longer, but found him a good home...

He's looks long legged for a white rock and comb is too small/body too thick for a leghorn. Could he be a white jersey giant?

He could be an anything.... I bought him in a batch of Australorps and Golden Comets as an unknown 'extra'.... !!
