Which rooster?

I'm planning on hatching out some cream legbar and some copper marans in a few weeks.

I don't know which roo to keep for my mixed breed flock.

Is there any benefit to one over the other? I'd like nice colourful eggs from the hens down the generations but hopefully there will be a mix of CLB and CM hens in there too.

It depends on what your goal is. Personally, my advice if you want a docile rooster for a mixed flock, wait until you hatch and grow out the chickens before you try to decide which to keep. Because you may have the nicest looking rooster of either breed, but if they are aggressive or are rough on the hens, then he probably isn't the best rooster to keep. So don't count your chickens before they hatch, and see how they measure up once they grow out.
