Opinions/Detectives Wanted For Raccoon Crime Scene

My brother and i did a roof repair job, from raccoon damage. The roof was not rotted at all. The raccoons moved into the attic area.They chewed through the aspalt shingles and sheathing..
My pick is #2, random pick to do damage. However, i also think a coon will take advantage of a weak/damaged roof looking for a place to live...
I also know a woman locally, who has a natural foods store that was invaded by coons last winter.The building was in good shape, they chewed through the roof and did big damage in the store, Afterward, they moved into the crawl space under the store. She payed $700. to have them removed...

Seriously, when it's time to reshingle the roof, I'm hiring coons to scrape off the old ones. Those guys do an amazing job.
