Well she got sucked in by a Troll - been there before! Lucky to have escaped I would say, those Trolls can be wicked.

Thanks everyone for the replies & different views. Just an odd situation allllllllllll the way around!

The sister in law really did try to just let it go & say no thank you.... She has a pretty dry sense of humor (I find it hilarious) & whether she wants to admit it or not, at the point she died back, she was obviously just an irritated cat batting a mouse back & forth
