opinions on gender..lets start with RIR here are some closeups approx. 2 weeks old

I would say its a bit young to sex effectively and it would be hard to describe with such a large group photo ^^

It's too young to sex accurately at 2 weeks. I would suggest re-posting its pic in about a month. By then it's gender should be much more obvious.

ok I tried feather testing at 1 day which I initially sexed as pullet, but these batches are different from when I got some from a hatchery. I sexed them accurately.

Sounds like you were lucky on sexing the first batch. Feather testing is not normally reliable unless the birds are specifically bred for that which is not the case with hatchery quality RIRs.
