Opinions on Hodges Farm Hatchery?

Hi
I like their website and I was thinking of getting Ameraucanas from them but they are pricey and they require a min order of 12 chicks. Are they worth the price?
Also, does anyone else in MA want to split an order with me? I don't need 12 more hens.

I don't think they sex there chicks, I think the chicks will be straight run. You may want to email them to make sure.

They sell their chicks as straight run only, according to their website.

Are they Easter Eggers or actual Ameraucanas? Might want to find out for sure, for peace of mind (if it matters to you).

I am having such a hard time getting Ameraucanas. It's not truly important- I'm not going to show them. I'd just like to get three (not 11, 15 or 25) hens that lay bluegreen eggs. I'm also looking at Meyers, which will send me three chicks, but the shipping is express only.
That's why I'm hoping to find some other folks in MA that want to order some chicks so we can split the shipping.
