I have five hens and a roo...wondering what you all think as far as Cream Crested Legbars go. I get a mix of blue and green eggs from them.

As cream crested Legbars go, not bad. The breed still has a lot of kinks to work out, which is why the breed club hasn’t made an attempt to put it into the Standard yet.
I’m seeing a consistency of color, which I haven’t seen in a lot of Legbar groups.
Flaws: the backs are too narrow, they need more body. Hens should be 5 1/2 pounds and cocks should be 7 pounds.
The hens’ tail should be set much lower, 35 degrees. Yours are closer to 90 degrees, a disqualifying factor. Combs are also too inconsistent for my taste, but I’d work on the type first.

If it were me I'd be sorting out whoever is laying the green eggs. Legbars should lay a sky blue egg. Also their legs look very pale, it may just be the lighting though. Legbars should have bright yellow legs.

According to the legbar club blue-green and green eggs are acceptable now.
Don't ask me why. I wouldn't breed anything but a blue egg laying CCL myself.
Opening the door to green eggs has made me lose faith in the club.

Didn't know they'd changed it. I sold my Legbars a few years ago. But I would have thrown a fit if I'd been a member.
