It's come with age. The tips of her paws are white and there is a little brown mixed in behind the ears.Has she always been grey around the muzzle, eyes and flanks, or has that come with age?
There was a time I thought that she might be mixed with a pitbull. But then looking back to her younger pictures, she looks very lean. That was before she got fixed of course. She looks exactly like a Labrador in head, face, eyes and body (from what I can see), so it's a difficult question. It's only the white that tells her apart.
I had an Alaska Husky who was black but from white on the chest and paws. They are very long and lean though, both in body and face.
A friend of mine have a Labrador x Pitbull mix who looked like a Lab with a white chest spot. A little buff perhaps...
Could even be that she's a mix between a black and a blonde Lab!
These bad pics but... you know one thing I notice is that she sheds like crazy and her fur isn't really as short as it appears.
Maybe collie?
Her parents could've been both mixed breeds....My first thought was actually Border Collie, but her coat looked way too short. Looking at these, she looks to have a very thick undercoat. You should think the tail was fluffier, though.
On these pics, the ears don't look like a Lab, too high set and small. Border Collies have ears that are a bit droopy, and mixed with a Lab, I'm sure they can look like this.
So I'd definitely keep Border Collie on the table!
