Opossum in the Run

Pics
I got 40' of the fence hot, gotta make more straight on brackets with a single insulator to finish.

All the corner brackets finished.

Mounted the charger to the fence with some straps on the back side.

The east side of the fence, which was the most vulnerable of any side with some fresh back fill.

A detail view of the bottom two corner brackets. I didn't really need corner brackets there because the gate is next to the post...

I don't see the point of killing wildlife. It's not like you can kill everything that threatens your chickens or other livestock. We have all manner of predatory birds here as well as coyotes, raccoons and possum and the occasional cougar. Currently we are over run with rats because of a new development going up on formerly wild land and squirrels because our neighbor insists on feeding them. We do poison the rats because they were inside our house, according to the exterminator, there were thousands of them in our neighborhood. The squirrels are a menace in the garden but I don't think i should poison my neighbor... Over all, once I identity the security breach I fix it and live and let live.

Sweet! Perfect!
Are they powder coated?

Yes, I use a pottery kiln to cure the powder until I can find time to build a proper one.

A couple of years ago I built a blast cabinet to properly prepare the parts for powder coat. That was an adventure, but another tool I needed in my shop and didn't have the money to buy a commercial one so I used my tools to build one. IIRC it took most of a month to fabricate it and I had to get a buddy to help me make some of the bends on the box and pan brake.
