Shleya looked at Thunder. "What should i do?" She asked quietly stroking his bright crimson feathers. about half way down, she stopped by a particular tree. She had found his egg there surprisingly intact after the long fall from the nest up on a ridge. She climbed the tree starting to feel a little happy. Thunder sat on one of the higher branches where they were too thin for even her to climb on (She's really skinny for her age.) "I won't tell anyone..." She decided thinking about what it would feel like to enter the other world only to get caught because some girl ratted you out. She sighed sitting down on one of the thicker branches. Her mind was full of unanswerable questions.
(I know. I just said trail for some reason. She's just walking down the opposite side of the mountain.)
Madison walked a bit faster, her anxiety growing by the minute. She smiled happily to herself. She had actually done it! She had finally done what she had been dreaming of her entire life. She just hoped the shleya wouldn't report her to the authorities.
(I still have a scar on my eyebrow when i was like a year old... ran into a corner. )
Shleya held out her arm out for Thunder to land on it and waited hopefully. He usually landed when she held it out but Thunder was getting older and less and less dependent on her. He might leave soon. She thought feeling the normal pang of worry. She didn't need to worry because Thunder landed on her arm as soon as he saw it. She sighed with relief. I should go find Madison.... Shleya thought.
(Ow, I did that 5 years ago at my grandparents house and my mom had to crazy glue the cut together, but she actually saw my skull. It was kinda freaky! XP brb, gtg eat dinner.)
Madison stumbled slightly, but kept walking. The cold wintery breeze (even though its the middle of summer) sent a pleasuring chill down Madison's arms. The slight wind felt good against her arms.
