Madison decided not to mention it, not with her family in the other room. She would ask him later when no one was listening, knowing he didn't want anyone to know.

Madison walked out the door and into the side walk and waited for Jason to follow. She had already said goodbye and goodnight to her family.

Jason followed her and said jokingly, "I should've opened the door for you instead of the other way around." Hoping she hadn't noticed how sad he got.

"It's fine, I'm a rule breaker... I like to mix things up..." She smiled, trying to cover her worry.

He started down the road reaching down to grab her hand hoping that Jake wasn't watching them, It would most likely make him really mad.

Madison grave his hand and smiled at him. Once they were farther down the street, Madison couldn't help but ask. "Are you ok? You seemed a bit sad.... Is it about your family? It is, isn't it?" She said sympathetically. Se fave a gentle squeeze to his hand.

He looked away. "I don't really want to talk about it." He said truthfully. He didn't want to talk about it. It was a sob story, he didn't want anyone feeling bad for him. he never really knew his parents, and don't get him wrong, he wanted to know them but he wasn't sure he wanted to risk being caught by the government.

"Ok, but whenever want to talk about it, Im ready to listen..." She said understandingly.

Jason knew she would want to know but he feared he would start crying like a six year old. He squeezed her hand a little. "So you're leaving Tiny with Forest?" He asked trying to change the subject.

"Ya, she loves tiny so much... And I knew she'll take care of her..." Madison said, accepting the change of subject.

Jason was relived that Madison didn't try to change the subject back. They were just heading out of town and he didn't know what to say next. He just sighed. He looked up surprised as he heard a whoosh. Shleya's red falcon was flying towards him. wasn't his name Thunder?
