Opposite gravity ~ a movie based RP

"What's thunder doing out here... I thought he'd be with shleya..." Madison said aloud as she eyed the falcon.

"So did I..." Jason said looking at the bird curiously. It landed on his head and peered down at him seeming to expect something. "Hi Thunder..." Jason said gently. There was a massive noise that followed. Thunder cawed loudly. The noise rang in his ears. He was afraid to say anything else but Thunder seemed satisfied and flew off again. "That was weird...." he observed.

"Your telling me..." She said, "that was.... Um.... Ya..." She said, unsure of what to say. They were already halfway up the trail leading to the tip if the mountain. The silence grew, but this time it wasn't that awkward.

He shrugged a little and headed towards the mountain, still holding her hand. It was getting darker and colder and he could see his breath, the stars twinkled above.

Madison shivered and ran her free arm up and down her other arm for warmth. "It's getting colder...." She said, pointing out the obvious.

He just nodded. Looking up at the stars wishing that life wasn't so complicated. He would give anything to have a normal life with Madison but they were unlucky enough to have a strange condition that forced them away form their families. He walked a little closer to her, knowing that's what she had expected.

Madison leans closer to him for warmth. They reached the top of the hill moments later. She reached down with shaky hands to unstrap her weights.

Jason copied her movements to unstrap the weights. When he pulled them off there was a weightless feeling as he tipped upside down. He regained his balance quickly and waited for Madison.

Madison landed a few feet away from him and stood up, brushing herself off. "I was to scared to say this in front if my family... But I can't stay with them... I can't really stay anywhere..." She said, her voice was soft and weak sounding.

Jason looked at her a little confused. "What do you mean?" He asked, "You still have your apartment right?" He asked looking at as it dawned on him that she may have sold her apartment to get the weights. He had struggled with money but apparently, she struggled a lot more. If i'da known... he thought feeling angry at himself.
