One night I heard a racket out in the chicken pen so I grabbed my light and went out there to investigate. Looked in the door and here is this tiny possum on the back of this big ole red hen. She was running around and round trying to get shed of him and he was hanging on for dear life. It was like a possum and chicken rodeo. LOL So yes even the small ones will try. Killed lots of bigger ones in the act over the years.
