My shed is split, half for the coop, half for storage.
Twice to date, I inadvertently left the storage side open all night.
First time, nothing was disturbed.
Second time, not so lucky.
Fortunately the coop side is very secure from the storage side. Birds were fine.
Unfortunately, the visitor ripped open and ate about 5 pounds of dog food sitting in a metal garbage can, along with all the poison baits in a not so secured container.
I felt very badly for the intruder, as it must have been a very unpleasant experience.
Quite possibly for an entire family, my best guess, racoons.
