Optimal hatch dates

The 2010 "Old Farmer's Almanac" (Page 230) suggests that chicks hatched during the period of a waxing moon under the fruitful Moon signs of Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces are healthier and mature faster.

This year's optimal hatching dates to shoot for (so count backwards 21 calendar days for egg setting) are:

March 23 & 24
April 19 & 20
May 18, 19, 25 & 26
June 13, 14, 21, 22 & 23
July 11, 19 & 20
August 15, 16 & 24
September 11, 12, 21 & 22
October 9, 10, 18 & 19
November 6, 14, 15 & 16
December 12, 13 & 21
