The oral syringe above is something you might want to keep with your chickens' medicine box. You might want several in different sizes, and your pharmacist will probably give you a couple if you ask. My local pharmacist sold me 20 1 ml/cc size for 10 cents each, but that was a rare find, usually they're about a quarter to fifty cents.
Next week I will be giving all my chickens and chicks worm medicine, 1/2 ml/cc for large chickens and 1/4 ml/cc for silkies and chicks. Having 20 1 ml size, I will fill them all before I start giving the medicine; that way I won't have to stop to fill them while I'm catching/holding a chicken.
