Finn Story Alert!
This morning, before the sun was up, I was laying in bed, half awake, about 6:45 a.m., half cognizant of the wild birds chorus outside, when I hear a scritching noise above my head. Our headboard now is against a window since we switched the craft room/office with the master bedroom. So, this noise happens, then I hear a quiet "meow". I crane my neck up and what do I see through the screen? About 3/4 of an orange striped face looking in at me. That bad cat knows where we sleep and knew exactly how to wake me up. So, needless to say, I was up a little before my usual time because of Finn. He'd better not make that a habit all summer.![]()
He spends almost no time at all inside now that the weather is warm. He does come in and out about 20x /day, though.

Of course. Though, he doesn't eat much now. He's getting plenty outside. Yesterday, a poor chipmunk met Finn. Gosh, even Big Ida, my largest Barred Rock hen, got her some game. I saw her gulp down a good size frog.
