Orange Tabby...He Stays and His Name is Finn (Update with Videos Dec 31)

See how hard Finn is working as a "test cat"? I think he should try out all your new cat projects!

Yes, that's it, he's the product tester. I gave him this one. Actually, I had made him one, but it was a bit too small, so I put it in the HS stack and gave this one to him. He's not a tiny cat, certainly, though I don't remember the cats from my childhood as far as size goes. Is a cat over 10 lbs considered a medium size or larger size?

Had to do a quick fact check on average male cat weights...apparently the average for a male is 9-11 pounds (all disclaimers in place like breed, neutered or not, etc.).

I put down one of the pet beds I had made for the HS where he likes to sit. He immediately crawled into it and went to sleep. That cat is pretty sure what I intended for him to do with it. Forgive the wood chips and trash-I just can't keep up with it, burning wood for heat. And I didn't want to scare him with the vacuum cleaner. (in case you've seen the Friskies commercial "Dear Kitten", I didn't want to "vacoooooom" because I have no curtains of invisibility for him to hide behind  )
I love that commercial!!! The link below is called the sad cat diary. My husband and I crack up every time we watch it. :)

Loved the Sad Cat Diary link, lol. Whoa, those poor cats and their struggle against "the authorities" and yet they persevere. Hilarious!

Sounds like he's right in there, then.

Just watched that one again. Too much! Finn seems more reasonable than those cats, LOL. He's so dog-like. He was on his bed in front of the hearth and began to hack like he was going to throw up. He got out of the bed and went to the edge of the hearth rug with his head just over the pine floor and stayed there until he quit his coughing fit. My husband and I looked at each other in amazement. No way, he really didn't just decide to avoid the rug if he threw up, did he? I mean, that would be too much even for a smart cat.

Then, he ended up here, sound asleep.

I know! That sad cat diary cracks me up!! Finn looks sooooo content! I love it! My cats will jump off the bed or get up to move before they hack up a hair ball. I don't think they like to vomit/poop/pee any where close to their favorite sleeping spots. But who knows!
