Orchids? Anybody?

Yes I have the spray. But you don't want to fertilize while blooming. I also have the liquid fertilizer that you dilute, that smells like sewage. You are supposed to stand them in that for ... 30 minutes, I think? I did that when they seemed really dormant. Once. It really is eye-watering stinky.
Yeah, I would just use the spray stuff

I would love to have an orchid :D I take care of a friend’s plants once every couple months because they go on lots of trips, and she’s got an orchid. It’s been blooming when I’m there, but she said it doesn’t always bloom each year. Her instructions were to give it two drops of water a couple times a week :p
I have a picture of it last summer.

ooh that's really pretty! May we know what part of the country you are in or at least what the climate is like? Hot/dry, hot/humid, cool/dry, cold/dry, etc.?

I’m in the northwest, we get all four seasons here, down in the teens in winter and the 110’s in summer :P It’s quite dry, but where my friend lives is a bit more humid since she’s by water.

That's getting to be close to what I'm doing. I don't want them to dry out but I don't soak them. I read that if you can keep their little clear plastic pots on a tray with marbles on it and keep that damp, they appreciate the humidity. I'm going to try that.
