My parents ordered two female Pekin ducks from Metzer Farm in CA and had them sent to me to raise them. I picked them up from the post office this morning and 5 tiny chicks were included in the box. I believe they were sent as warming chicks, but I need help identifying the breeds.

Being very new to this, I am going to ask a stupid question...Are they laying chickens or broilers that get sent? If they are laying breeds, can the roosters still be eaten? I’m not planning to eat them, but I’d like to rehome them somewhere if I can.
