I couldn't get any fast growing CC from Welp and had to sub for the slow growers. I have some red broilers on the way as well from Ideal and I'm curious if I should treat the slow grow CC's like the reds. I raised Texas A&M CC's for livestock show back in high school but never dealt with their slower counterparts. I think they take the same amount of time to reach slaughter size as the reds or do they take a differen time to reach it?

We just processed our Red broilers from Ideal a couple of weeks ago. Ideal said to do it at 10 weeks, so we did, but if I had to do it over again, I would let them go 12 weeks. at 10 wks they were 3 to 4.5 lbs dressed. We fed them regular chick starter at first, then about 5 weeks went to a 24% feed along with grass and a few sunflower seeds as treets.

they have the best taste - WOW!
